GRE special

Hello Friends!
Are U getting bored with orkut and gtalk? What a silly question i am asking..What i meant to say was if none of your friends are online and you are waiting.You can use this time to play with words.
Here i will be writing 10 words every day along with there meaning (not every day...here in NITC u can't say such things for sure) ...These words are from Barron's guide...

  8. vampire - ghostly being that sucks blood of the living
  9. vanguard - forerunners
  10. vantage - i don't need to explain this....u might have seen vantage point..itzz good movie..anyways it's meaning is "position giving an advantage"
Though i am lazy person but i will try my best to continue this everyday...
